Indications

Gemtesa (vibegron) is a prescription medication used for the treatment of overactive bladder (OAB) with symptoms of urge urinary incontinence, urgency, and urinary frequency in adults.

Vibegron is a beta-3 agonist that works by relaxing the bladder muscle to help it hold more urine, reducing the number of times you need to urinate and the occurrence of leakage episodes.

Use and Dosage

The standard dose is one 75 mg tablet taken orally once a day, with or without food. That is necessary to comply with the dosage instructions provided by your healthcare professional and avoid exceeding or reducing the prescribed dose.

In addition, it should be noted that Gemtesa tablets are not meant to be crushed, broken, or chewed, as they may affect the drug’s efficacy.
