Description

Minocin is a medication used in the treatment of certain infections or may be used in combination with other medications to treat severe acne.

Keep Minocin at room temperature and protect from heat, moisture, and light.

Tell your doctor of any medical conditions or medications especially if: you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant, or are breast-feeding; you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement; you have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances; you have kidney problems; or you have an autoimmune disorder.

Minocin may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or lightheadedness. Do not drive or participate in any other potentially dangerous behavior until you are aware of how you will react to Minocin. Avoid the sun, sunlamps, or tanning booths until you know how you will react to Minocin as the medication may cause you to burn more easily. Long-term or repeated use of Minocin may cause a second infection. Minocin only works against bacteria and will not treat a viral infection.
