Plendil is an anti-hypertensive medication used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).

Felodipine is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker that lowers both systolic and diastolic blood pressure levels. The medication does this by relaxing smooth muscle in selective arteriolar resistance vessels to widen blood vessels and improve blood flow.

This anti-hypertensive medication is an effective form of treatment for those with high blood pressure. Thanks to its vasodilating properties and selective antihypertensive effects, Plendil can lower systolic and diastolic blood pressure to manage hypertension. The medication is also safe and well-tolerated with the most common side effects being transient and mild.

The dose of Plendil that is prescribed will vary depending on the individual and severity of the hypertension being treated. Follow your doctor’s directives and read packaging labels carefully to ensure the best therapeutic results.
