Zincofax Extra-Strength is a diaper rash cream that is used to treat and prevent diaper rash in babies. It contains a higher concentration of zinc oxide, specifically 40% zinc oxide, which helps to treat and prevent diaper rash and temporarily relieve minor skin irritation due to diaper rash.

The cream is formulated to protect the baby’s skin from wetness and promote healing. Despite its high zinc oxide content, Zincofax Extra-Strength remains a creamy ointment that glides on smoothly, providing a protective barrier without causing discomfort to the baby.

Use and Dosage

This medication is normally applied to the affected areas several times daily on an as-needed basis. Be sure to wash the affected area with soap and water and dry thoroughly before applying zinc oxide.

To treat diaper rash, zinc oxide is normally applied at every diaper change until the redness disappears. To prevent diaper rash from occurring, zinc oxide is normally applied daily. For the best results, be sure to change your baby’s diaper frequently and keep the area clean and dry.
