Indications

Zofran ODT is an anti-nausea medicine used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy and radiation therapy cancer medicines. The drug is also used to prevent nausea that may occur after receiving surgery.

Ondansetron is a selective serotonin receptor antagonist that inhibits specific receptor sites affected by cancer medications. By blocking the release of serotonin from these areas, Zofran ODT reduces your vomiting reflex and can help prevent nausea in response to treatment.
