FAQ

How long does Voltaren gel take to start working?

Voltaren gel is not designed to provide immediate pain relief and may take up to 7 days to reach its full effect. The gel must absorb into your skin and work to reduce inflammation. Continue applying the gel each day; talk with your doctor if pain does not improve after 7 days.

Can I use Voltaren gel for muscle pain or strains?

Voltaren gel is designed to provide pain relief for arthritis and therefore has not been shown to work on muscles. If you suffer from joint pain related to musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis, voltaren can help ease pain by reducing inflammation around your joints.
